Tyn Dwr Hall is a brand new wedding venue in Llangollen, North Wales. I discovered Tyn Dwr Hall earlier this year, when it was still in the process of being renovated (thank you Emma 😉 ) and was excited even before I’d been to see it.
Matt & Vicky, (the owners of Tyn Dwr Hall) along with their team have worked tirelessly to restore this amazing building and create this stunning wedding venue. When talking to Matt about the project he said that it was their aim right from the start to be the best. He knew they needed to create something special to compete with the many great wedding venues in Wales and across the country. And after my first visit I knew they were
on to something… What had been completed had been done to a very high standard, and there was so much potential. Tyn Dwr Hall has luxury accommodation, tipis, a cottage, gardens, a terrace, a river and beautiful views over the valley. Plus, plenty of space inside too, multiple reception rooms, a ball room, a bell tower and the spectacular garden room. Not to mention all the guest bedrooms, plus the three bridal suits and a room solely for bridal prep!
So, when I got the email asking if I was available to document Matt & Vicky’s vow renewal (the first ‘wedding’ at Tyn Dwr Hall) I was super excited, and even more so when they chose me! As this is such a new venue, I was asked to focus a little more on the details, the other suppliers and the venue than I might on a normal wedding. This blog post focuses more on the venue and suppliers, and part two (coming soon) will focus on their wedding vow renewal. It was my first time photographing a vow renewal, but in all honesty it was pretty much the same as a wedding! Matt & Vicky went all out and had an amazing day. I got to work with some awesome suppliers so if you like what you see here, please feel free to check out their websites…
