Tyn Dwr Hall is a historic elegant mansion with a modern twist and I can’t wait to photograph Emma & James’ wedding here next year – I’m so excited! Set in the Dee Valley, not far from Llangollen Tyn Dwr is surrounded by beautiful gardens (including a waterfall and the oldest Yew Tree in Wales) plus acres of woodland. If you’re looking for luxury, charm and character in a rural setting Tyn Dwr Hall could be the perfect wedding venue for you.
Once inside, you’ll immediately notice that Tyn Dwr Hall isn’t lacking space on the inside either. The entrance hall is impressive to say the least – an imposing fireplace, grand staircase and elegant chandeliers are all stunning… Throw in a piano player and you’ve got one hell of a welcome! There’s also the library snug, dining room and living room to relax and entertain in. The ballroom is just down the hallway and is absolutely gorgeous. With loads of windows giving views out across the gardens, it’s a light bright and airy space ideal for your wedding ceremony and perfect conditions for wedding photography. Oh and it also has a bell tower!
Upstairs, there’s three bridal suites, all of which feature an en suite shower room and luxurious free standing bath. There’s also a dedicated preparation area to get ready in on the morning of your wedding. Along with these suites there’s a further 10 en suite guest bedrooms, the Yew Tree Cottage and yurts for your guests to stay in.
Tyn Dwr Hall is one of the most exciting wedding venues I’ve been to and it’s not even finished yet. It’s still in the process of being renovated and converted into a new wedding venue. So, I’ve not seen inside the guest rooms, or the Yew Tree Cottage or the even Garden Room! But I think it’s fair to say, that going from what they’ve done so far, they will all be as gorgeous as the rest of it. Stay tuned, because I can’t wait to go back and see how it all comes together…
