Congratulations Pam & Dave!
Pam & Dave got married at Crosby Hall Educational Trust (or CHET for short) and they crammed so much entertainment into their half day wedding! I arrived just before 3pm as the venue was beginning to fill up with excited guests. Pam arrived shortly after and once the legal formalities were taken care of, it was on to the ceremony. We snuck off once the congratulations had calmed down for a couple of portraits and few group shots, before heading to the lawn for confetti throwing and a few more group photos to mark the occasion.
Then it was onto the wedding breakfast, and this is where the surprises started. Pam & Dave had organised for David Marshall Music to do a surprise singing waiter set – involving a giant Cornetto. But it wasn’t just their guests that got a surprise, Dave’s son made an unexpected (and beautiful) speech. Pam & Dave, had been practising their choreographed first dance in their conservatory, although this didn’t go entirely to plan as they hadn’t factored in the limitations of Pam’s wedding dress. However, they managed to pull it off and I wouldn’t have been any the wiser if they hadn’t have told me.
David Marshall Music provided yet more entertainment with a short “Phantom of the Opera” show and then went off to provide the music for the rest of the night.
So all in all, this was one hell of an entertaining wedding – here are some of my favourite photos from Pam & Dave’s special day.
