Wedding Photography at The Principal, George Street Hotel
Robyn & Christopher’s wedding at The Principal, George St was awesome. I could go on for ages talking about all the things I loved, but as I’m massively behind blogging weddings I’m going to focus on one thing – the main thing. Robyn & Christopher!
It’s clear to see that they are made for each other and oh-so-much in love. Robyn got ready with her Mum & bridesmaids, Christopher got ready on the other side of the hotel with his best men. The atmosphere in the morning was great, the perfect mix between excited, nervous and emotional!
Personal Wedding Ceremony
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… Weddings are incredibly personal days, and the more personal you can make them to you as a couple, the better.
Robyn & Christopher wrote their own vows for the ceremony, which is a great way of doing just that. They were tender, emotional (I nearly cried at one point) and funny too. As were the speeches. Steve, Christopher’s Best Man-made a brilliant speech with some hilarious, semi-inappropriate jokes and finished it off with a great poem.
Wedding Band At The Principal, Edinburgh
A band is my preferred choice of evening entertainment, because a band brings an extra level of energy and interaction to the night. That’s not to say DJ’s aren’t good, because I know plenty of really good DJ’s. A band is just different… Robyn & Christopher had The White Doves as their wedding band and they were awesome. They even played their first dance song, which I think makes a huge difference!
