I drove back from Kirsty & Jon’s wedding on Saturday with the wipers on warp speed the whole way – but what a wedding! I had an amazing day and would like to thank the Brand New Mr & Mrs for not only throwing an amazing wedding but also choosing me to document it.
Trevor Hall with its brilliantly bonkers decor is a fantastic choice for a weekend wedding. Kirsty & Jon crammed it full of the people they care about the most. They had a relaxed night on Friday, wedding on Saturday (I left at 11pm and they were still partying strong, so I have no doubt they went on into the early hours of the morning) followed by a cocktail party and afternoon tea on Sunday – now that’s how you have a wedding! I wish I could have stayed for the whole thing.
Obviously there are more details and photos to come, but for now here are some of my favourites… How many Brides make a speech that results in the whole room crying with laughter and their new husband hiding on the stairs with embarrassment (while also crying with laughter)?
