My first daughter was born at Glan Clwyd Hospital – just 7 minutes or 2.3 miles from our house. I’m being deliberately precise because I drove that journey twice a day, for 5 days while my wife was kept in after giving birth to Ellie. I tried to thank everyone who was involved at the time, but with everything going on I’m sure I forgot people and I know there were people caring for my wife and daughter that I didn’t even get to meet.
