I\u2019m just going to come right out and say it. I\u2019m a little bit in love with this wedding. Everything about it; the people, the atmosphere, the venue, the style, the food, the music – everything was awesome.<\/p>\n

I met Em & Dom last summer and knew straight away that their wedding was going to be a good one. We instantly hit it off and their plans sounded really cool. They weren\u2019t afraid to do something a little different,\u00a0and <\/span>clearly these guys have great taste… I mean, Em looked like a frickin\u2019 movie star (thanks to good genetics and a little help from <\/span>Jemma Stenning<\/a> & Nikki Amos Make-Up \ud83d\ude09 ) and Dom arrived in a Rolls Royce Phantom (from <\/span>Cheshire Luxury Cars<\/a>). Their cake was beautiful and made of 7 different flavours, one of them being apple pie & custard because that\u2019s Dom\u2019s favourite and well… why not. Their first dance was Follow You by Bring Me The Horizon. Their guest book was an elaborate pop-up Alice In Wonderland book and the table centres were all unique displays of <\/span>tea cups, cards, flowers and glass cloches. But you know what. As cool as the <\/span>Oddfellows<\/a> is and as stylish as the decorations were, none of that mattered. It\u2019s the people that make a wedding and <\/span>clearly these guys are surrounded by an awesome bunch of people. The speeches were informal, relaxed and the perfect balance of sincerity and banter. Being in that room really felt like being part of one big family.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I\u2019m sure you know I don\u2019t do too many posed photos, but when your venue has a table setting on the ceiling you\u2019ve got to have a bit of fun. So in between the wedding breakfast and the first dance we headed downstairs to get a few shots of Em & Dom having high tea, upside down.<\/p>\n

For those of you who have heard a track or two from Bring Me The Horizon, you\u2019ll probably know they\u2019re not your typical first dance band. But with lyrics like \u201cSo you can drag me through hell, If it meant I could hold your hand\u201d, Follow You is actually quite an appropriate song. I love how they decided on their choice too. Em was watching them live, the song came on so she messaged Dom \u201cBMTH, Follow You, first dance done?\u201d to which he replied \u201cJust listening to it now. First dance done.\u201d Now that\u2019s how you make decisions. The party got started immediately after their first dance and Ben from Tie The Knot Music<\/a> kept the dance floor packed all night long.<\/p>\n
