My approach to wedding photography is very much a documentary one.  It&#8217;s all about photographing each moment as it happens.  To tell your story I&#8217;ll be close to the action, but never in the way or controlling it.  So, if you&#8217;re the sort of couple who aren&#8217;t mad keen on posing I could be the photographer for you.<br><br>North Wales photographers and couples choosing to get married in Wales are blessed with a huge amount of gorgeous locations and wedding venues to choose from. From Wrexham to Anglesey, anywhere in Snowdonia National Park we are spoilt for choice.  <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top 5 Favourite Wedding Venues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">You won&#8217;t find any city centre wedding venues, like you would in the North West, however, North Wales is the perfect place to get married if you&#8217;re a fan of the great outdoors.  We have beaches, mountains, forests and lakes that provide an epic backdrop to your wedding images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">Although I photograph weddings all over the UK, some of my favourite wedding venues are in North Wales. than this!<br><br>In an attempt to keep this short, I&#8217;ve skipped over plenty of gorgeous venues such as Tower Hill Barns, Nant Gwrtheyrn or the vast amount of beach or other Airbnb&#8217;s suitable for alternative weddings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips for Planning Your North Wales Wedding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you start\u2026 Stop.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">Take time to enjoy being engaged and daydream about what your perfect wedding looks like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make It About You<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">Make it about you as a couple, and your time together. Think about all the things you love and try to imagine ways you can build those into your day. Get as much of your personality into your day as possible \u2013 don\u2019t let traditions block your ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">List Your Priorities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">Once you\u2019ve got an idea of what you want your day to be like, it\u2019s time to get your priorities sorted! Make a list of \u201cmust-haves\u201d and do your best to stick to it. Think about what\u2019s important to you both and make those things a priority. So if music is a big part of your life, prioritise the soundtrack. If you\u2019re massive foodies, concentrate on the menu. If it\u2019s really all about spending time with your guests, focus on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Allocate Your Budget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">I\u2019m not going to give you advice on how to save or spend your money, I am most definitely not qualified for that! So what I will say is this\u2026 Refer back to your list of priorities, and spend your budget accordingly. But there are a couple of conditions.  The wedding needs to take place under a fixed structure, such as a gazebo, which has been licensed to hold weddings.  So, getting married in your back garden or on the beach isn&#8217;t allowed.  However, if you&#8217;re happy to get the legal stuff out of the way at a registry office, then you can hire a celebrant (or ask a close friend) to perform the ceremony for you and that can take place almost anywhere you like. According to an industry survey, the average price for a wedding photographer in the UK in 2020 was \u00a31590.  <br><br>When deciding if a price offers good value for money, you&#8217;ll need to consider things like their experience &amp; professionalism &#8211; you need to trust that they can deliver high-quality images, no matter what the weather or surprises the day might throw at them.  Also, the length of coverage, what&#8217;s included within their package and how that compares to your plans and expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"padding\">As with most things wedding-related, the earlier you book the better.
