My approach to wedding photography is very much a documentary one. It’s about creating an artistically shot record of your day — not manufacturing memories. I'm all about photographing the natural moments, the genuine emotion and the real smiles. I'll tell your story from the inside out, from a guest's perspective, to create images that are immersive and compelling. I'll be close to the action, but never in the way or controlling it. That's how I'll create images that bring back real memories–images that have an emotional attachment.
My photography is heavily focussed around people and the interactions between them. With such a heavy focus on people, personality plays a big part in my photography. My personality has been the largest influencing factor in how I approach wedding photography. Just as your personalities will be the biggest contributing factor to the images I create. So, the more of "you", you can cram into your wedding the better. I encourage everyone to plan their wedding their way.
If you invite me to your wedding, I'll never drag you away from your guests — or the bar. I'll never make you smile, or stand in a way you'd never stand. You'll simply be able to relax, and have an awesome day. Go talk to your cousin who's come all the way from Australia to see you! Go have a sneaky fag with your best mate from school — even though you've both quit! Go give your 90 year old Gran a hug. Go slope off with your now husband/wife for a quiet five minutes or maybe a shot! It's your wedding, do whatever you want to do. Don't worry about me, I'll be working away — never far away and never in your way.
TL;DR: You do what you do, I'll do what I do.
